In casino's you will find community card, stud and draw games.

Community card games include Texas Hold 'em and Omaha and few other derivatives.  Texas Hold 'em has become extremely prevalent on TV and in casinos.  Both games use cards dealt up on the tables for all players.

In Texas Hold 'em:

You can use any five cards from your hand or the community cards to make your hand.  Two people put in blinds to start (there are no antes). The small blind is the first player dealt to, left of the dealer/the player on the button.  The small blind is normally half the amount of the big blind, who is second to the left of the dealer.
